And Weekends
So this last weekend was packed jam full of activities for me. It was my grandfather's 84th birthday on Saturday so I drove to David City after a 4 x 10k fun little time trial with some friends followed by a 10k run. On my way home I was lucky enough to get pulled over in Wahoo for going 7 over in town. I got away with a warning, but my car registration was expired so I have to get that taken care of then drive back to Wahoo to get that signed off on later this week.
On Sunday my brother put the menu together for a mug club party out at granite city. It's main entrees were a Spiced Raspberry Crusted Whitefish and New Mexico Sausage and Citrui. I always come in and shoot some photos of the dishes my brother creates so he can show 'em off to corporate and I get a nice little change to do some culinary photography, which is pretty tough work. It is much easier to eat.
The party was complete with a 5 piece mariachi band. The band sang happy birthday to my grandpa on numerous occasions.

I jettisoned from GC to head over to Rick's for a little farewell ditty for Seth as he takes of for Estes Park for the summer. He is a bastard. We expect him to come back cruising V9s and projecting V11s. Once again, Seth sucks. With such a diverse mix of friends in the climbing community here, we are lucky enough to wind down the weekend with beer and pure oxygen. If that isn't a way to end a weekend, I might as well just give up.
